An evening on the beach with two two-years didn’t sound easy. I had them by myself for a full hour before Nicole could join us. I had every disaster scenario running through my head in slow motion and I was pressing replay every 30 seconds to make sure I was fully prepared to avert any dreadful situations.
As it turns out, they were little angels, holding hands dodging from the crashing waves, never venturing too far in. The priceless expressions of pure joy on their faces and the sound of their giggles is forever engrained my memory.
This day was all about fun, and we had no intentions to take pictures. But once Nicole was with us and we had all hands-on deck, the camera came out – we’re photographers after all, and sometimes we just can’t help it! We captured them just how I always want to remember them. Their playful little souls utterly delighted by the ocean, something so simple, yet so magnificent.
The perfect day at the beach. Our day ended with lots of smiles, a car full of sand, and of course, Chick-fil-A!
And to leave with you a fun little tip for the beach – pack baby powder! There’s nothing like it when it comes to getting the sand off you and will leave your skin soft and dry!
