It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday season is upon us, and I’m ready to celebrate all of my favorite holidays (Thanksgiving, you aren’t forgotten ππ¦). Growing up, I remember the excitement of Christmas Eve and not wanting to go to sleep. The giddy feeling of waking up extra early Christmas morning, jumping in my parents bed at 4 AM. Because, hello, Santa came…how are they not awake yet? Now, I get the same giddy feeling of getting to watch the joy of the season through my son’s eyes (and very thankful he doesn’t wake up at 4 AM). And next year will be even better, with the twins added to the mix βΊοΈ
This time of year also means family pictures. You’re likely planning parties, cooking lots of food, shopping for special gifts for your loved ones. You’ve got enough on your plate. So, I took the stress out of planning the perfect outfits. I’ve put together a few family outfit combinations to make styling for your family photos a breeze. Whether you want to dress more traditional or choose a muted color palette, all of the options will photograph beautifully!
Tell me, what’s your favorite color palette? How will you be dressing your family for this year’s sessions?
A beautiful color combination, mixing rich colors and textures. I just love the velvet bowtie and baby bonnet!

For a more traditional Christmas look, deep reds, blush, and light neutrals pair beautifully together. A variety of texture brings this look together, with lace, tulle, and a wool suit. Velvet is definitely trending this season, and the velvet head band is the perfect accessory for any little girl!
The perfect light and airy option for Christmas, with sweaters, plaid, and metallics.
such great ideas for classy family photo outfits! love it!
