It seems like it flew by, but hello 3rd trimester! I’m loving this season in life (even though I might not love the 3rd trimester part so much). And let me tell you, a California winter pregnancy is a lot more pleasant than a Florida summer pregnancy. i.e. No humidity, sticking thunder thighs, and praying nothing falls out of the tank top that seems to be shrinking every wash.
This time around seems a bit more magical, but Christmas tree farms and sequin dresses might help a little with that. And I can promise you, twin pregnancy life isn’t as glamorous as these pictures make it seem. The majority of my time is spent in leggings and an oversized sweatshirt cuddling with my pregnancy pillow. (If you’re pregnant and you don’t have one, get one!!)
I’m cherishing each last moment with Jackson as an only child and soaking up all the extra hugs and kisses he’s willing to give. Today he told me he only wanted one brother and not two, so reality might be setting in with him. We’re also fighting over my pregnancy pillow. For him, it’s like a big giant boppy pillow, so can I blame him really? I’m not ashamed that I’m using this as a bribe to get him to go to bed by himself every night, and so far it’s working 😂 Mean mamma over hear moves him after he’s sounds asleep, and I get my pillow back, plus peace and quiet alone time before bed.
My dress is non-maternity from ASOS, but you can find the maternity version by clicking here.
